Which tent solution suits your camping style?

Whether classic camping vacation, road trip with the van or permanent camping with the caravan – at Westfield you will find exactly the tent that suits you. Our selection ranges from the compact air awning for panel vans to the generous Westfield tent with several sleeping cabins for families or couples with a lot of luggage.

Our Westfield Air awnings are particularly popular, as they do not require any poles thanks to innovative AirTube technology. Set up in just a few minutes, they offer maximum stability and protection—even in wind and weather. Alternatively, classic awnings with aluminum poles or hybrid solutions are also available.

With sophisticated features such as removable front walls, integrated sun canopies or modular extensions, many models can be flexibly adapted to your travel needs.

Your most frequently asked questions

Air awnings can be set up much faster and easier. Instead of poles, air is pumped into stable air hoses that support the tent. This means there are fewer individual parts, which makes assembly easier, less risk of breakage and greater flexibility.

The recommended air pressure is 7 PSI or 0.5 bar, depending on the model.

Please check the information in the supplied instructions. Temperature differences can affect the pressure, so adjust if necessary in strong sunshine.

Tip: When using our electric pump, the pressure can be set in advance. The pump then regulates the pressure automatically and you can be completely sure.

  1. Pull the tent into the awning rail on the caravan
  2. Fill the air system with the included pump – one valve is enough to fill all hoses at the same time
  3. Brace with lines and pegs, especially important in wind

You can find detailed instructions for your Westfield awning under Instructions and Downloads

  • Check valves and connections first and tighten if necessary
  • If the problem persists, remove the air hose and consult our video instructions on YouTube
  • If there are actually leaks, use the service area and get suitable spare parts there.

Yes, Westfield air awnings are made of HydroTech® CottonTouch or HydroTech® Ripstop – both materials are water-repellent, UV-resistant and tear-resistant. They are designed for typical camping weather (wind, rain, sun). Not suitable for winter use (snow load).

  • Always allow to dry completely before packing
  • Clean with lukewarm water and a soft brush
  • Do not use aggressive cleaning agents
  • Note UV protection: set up in the shade if possible or cover for longer periods of time

Measure the attachment height on your caravan/motorhome (awning rail to floor) and compare it with the information on our product page. Models such as Mars, Pluto or Vega are optimized for different heights and vehicle types.

Especially with circumferential rails on the caravan, you have to measure the entire height from the floor to the top edge and back to the floor. These dimensions help to determine the right air awning.

More Information

The biggest difference lies in the materials:

  • Pluto 2.0: Cotton Touch material, designed for approx. two months of continuous use per year
  • Galaxy 2.0: Tencate All Season material in the roof and Mehler Airtex in the outer area, much more UV-resistant and suitable for continuous use throughout the season

Both models are not suitable for winter use (snow load).

The conical air hose is supported on the panel van and ensures that the sliding door can run smoothly under the awning without touching or getting caught on the air hoses. Since many panel vans taper or are cut at an angle in the upper area, the tent is adapted accordingly at the top.

Our synthetic fibers are solution-dyed, making them more colorfast and UV-stable. This significantly increases the durability. In addition, the material can be coated from the inside, which reduces the formation of condensation.
